Step 1 = Start Windows Explorer, and then rename all files and folders in the following two folders: c:\windows\system32\spool\printers c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86 To rename a file, you can right click the file and select Rename. ![]() To fix your issue, it's better to remove the old driver thoroughly, then reinstall the new driver. In my opinion, your printer driver should be not installed properly.
